Ambita Verdi
A trained special educator from the Spastic Society of Northern India. Ms. Verdi is a consultant with Pratham, Very Special Arts, & Sanskriti School. She facilitates Inclusive Education, designs curricula for Primary Schools, Anganwadi’s, Balwadi’s and is involved in setting up Vocational Centres for the specially abled.
Her work spans across a broad spectrum, that includes using the Arts to empower differently abled students, facilitator training and sensitisation workshop. She has co-authored a book on the frame work for early intervention. Ms.Verdi has the experience of working in inclusive mainstream schools as well as centres for differently abled youth. Creative teaching is her mission.
Shivani
A Fulbright Scholar, with a Master’s degree in Social Work and a degree in Education. She is a trained counsellor with experience in working with children across diverse educational settings. She has worked with institutions such as Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, Sanskriti School, Learn Today, NIPCCD and the Institute of Career Studies, Lucknow.
Having worked extensively on developing mental health frameworks and inclusive education models for schools, she has been part of the team that designed the curriculum for The Royal Academy of Bhutan. She has worked with both mainstream and marginalised children and is deeply committed to creating equitable and inclusive learning environments.
